I love this move. Nick Young has to come off the bench though:)

I wouldn't mind for Eddie House & James Posey :) Only if 08' Posey shows up.

With some of the big name FA's in 2014 there could be a possibility one gets traded before the deadline so a team doesn't end up empty handed. I'd want a contract extension if that happens again though.....

Mo Williams is a far better player than Farmar will ever be. With that said I don't see them signing him. They've got Nash, Blake, and Farmar at PG already. They've also got Bryant, Meeks, and Young at SG. I don't see LA signing anymore guards. It's time to go after a SF to fill out the lineup.

With a 60yr old nash & kobe coming back from injury i wouldnt mind if the lakers r 3 deep at pg/sg position

Nash/farmar/nate
Kobe/mo williams/meeks
Young/ trade player from blake/hill
Lo/kelly
Pau/kaman/sacre

Here's the roster as it now stands

PG: Nash | Blake | Farmar
SG: Bryant | Meeks
SF: Young
PF: Hill
C: Gasol | Kaman | Sacre

That's 10 players, Lakers need to add at least 3 more players (NBA rule).

I would add Lamar Odom, Sasha Vujacic and resign Ebanks. Throwback to 2008-10 Lakers teams (Ebanks in place of Ariza/MWP, Nash in place of Fisher, Young in place of Shannon Brown).

PG: Nash | Blake | Farmar
SG: Bryant | Meeks
SF: Ebanks | Young | Vujacic
PF: Odom | Hill
C: Gasol | Kaman | Sacre

If Kobe, Nash and Gasol can stay healthy and Ebanks and Odom are motivated this could be a very underrated team in the playoffs.

You forgot to add machine gun Kelly to the line up, I'm assuming the Lakers sign him. And no to bums like Vujacic and Ebanks. I'd be estatic signing Austin Daye and Odom to round out the roster. Even add CDR as an insurance policy.

PG: Nash/Blake/Farmar
SG: Bryant/Young/Meeks
SF: Daye or Wes Johnson/Young
PF: Hill (love his energy and hustle)/Daye/Odom
C:Gasol/Kaman/Sacre

Or start Kobe at SF and Young at SG to add another scoring threat. You can run the offense through Gasol since he actually has shooters to pass through. Either way I like the fact that the Lakers are finally taking some chances.

No to Austin Daye, he's an undersized PF. It's a huge disadvantage to have a soft SF in today's era.

I really hope they'll have Nick Young coming off the bench & sign a solid SF. Height has just to be right for the position & quick/strong enough to players like LeBron.

Can they still sign Ron Ron?

Nope, cannot sign back an amnestied player for that one season I believe. If Ron is still a FA next summer, I think Lakers can bring him back.

Right, that's my point. They already are at both positions. I see you trading Blake there but you're not going to get much for him right now. Plus you're lisiting Mo Williams as a SG but as stated before he's definitely not a SG, he's a PG. He's only 6'1.

I think our rotation looks more like:

Farmar/Nash/Blake
Bryant/Meeks/?????
Young/?????/?????
Gasol/?????/Kelly
Kaman/Hill/Sacre

Supposedly we're taking a good look at Josh Selby and Chris Douglas Roberts from our summer league team. Might bring Odom and/or Vujacic back, and may take a look at a guy like Austin Daye.
