How about
Rudy Fernandez? Corey Magette. Rip Hamilton? Dahntay Jones, and yes, somebody mentioned Wesley Johnson,

Rip is the better outside shooter. Maggette is more of a slasher that gets to the rim.

I agree. We are getting skill players on our team finally but every championship team has to have an enforcer. We dont have that right now. Martin would be a pickup that we can afford, although I suspect D'Antoni would prefer a stretch 4 over Martin.

Dude, do you watch the game? Seriously Wes Johnson can't shoot for crap. Same thing with Derrick Williams. They're just athletes.

I still want Odom and Nate Robinson or Sasha Vujacic

Wes Johnson's one of those guys hasn't been put in the right situation. I think on the Lakers he could carv out a niche for himself. He's only 24, he won't ever turn into a superstar but he can be a valuable role player

Apparently NOT WELL from the 3pt line bec his career % is 30.5%,
Overall he is only shooting 42.3%.
fyi, Wesley Johnson has career ave of 33.6% from the 3pt line,
I thought is was higher!
Speaking for myself, I dont have the time to watch every single game and I don't remember every player, so I go to the actual stats to go away from my subjective thoughts that are ways usually on the limited games I see players play.

in his rookie yr adleman buried him on bench with love/beasley playing...so no playing time...he is a pf & Adleman wanted him to lay @ sf

stats are overrated when you look at the whole picture...their starting 5 were:
ridnour
alex shved
cunnigham
d will
stiesma as pek was injured most of time...

he has the shot...look at last yr's wolves ...who was getting double teamed? player like these needs to be a little bit open to hit that shot...which they can here in LA

my 2 cents...

Derrick Williams hasn't really had his chance to shine in the NBA yet. He's only had a little bit of PT when people were injured. We haven't seen him as a full time starter and for whatever reason Minnesota hasn't traded him yet. If you want to throw stats out there he shot over 50% from the 3pt line in college. There's another stat that's useless right now. He can shoot, he just hasn't had the chance to. I'm not saying he's necessarily going to be a good NBA player or even a good fit for this team. But in the discussion of whether he can shoot or not, the guy can shoot. I'd like to see him have a bigger role somewhere before I judge the type of player he's going to be. Right now he's one of those guys with "potential". That word we use when guys were good in college and still haven't had a legit chance in the league, lol.
