Default Ramona Shelbourne report regarding Dwight

This is about two days old. Ramona Shelbourne disclosed the real reasons for why Dwight Howard left.

According to Ramona, Dwight was very uncomfortable with Kobe's possibility of playing past the 13-14 season. His camp even went as far as wanting Kobe to be amnestied if Dwight were to stay.

What do you guys think of this?

Chris broussard said 3 things why he left:

Didnt wanted to play for Mike D being the best player to run p&r with nash
Didnt wanted to play with kobe at all after next year
Thinks nash is DONE lol

Bye dwight...dont let the door hit u

Easy decision

i can understand 2 of the reasons. MDA and Nash.

he s gone and thats it. he s not worth the hate and it looks weak. the Lakers will bounce back 2014. so lets enjoy a year without pressure. i see a plan and Mitch will do it.

It was a necessary report to be published. It doesn't tell us anything new regarding Dwight Howard and his personality, but rather it confirms it for us. We suspected it all along and now we know this is what kind of player he is.

He had Stan fired from Orlando, only so he can end up leaving. He wanted D'Antoni gone, which isn't necessarily against our wishes. But then he comes in and he wants Kobe, the man who assisted in 3 championships, and then single handedly brought us two more after Shaq's departure, to be amnestied from this team as if he were a disappointing overpaid player. A man who has much sentimental value for the fans, for the team, and for the NBA.

I will agree with Dwight on one thing though, Kobe cannot be the man anymore once this contract expires. Dwight may have come on a bit too strong and too soon. However, when Kobe's contract expires this year, we will all eventually agree. He cannot receive the same salary, and he cannot be the main go-to-guy.

There's always a time when a certain reign has to come to an end. While Kobe has provided us all with decades of conversation and very valuable memories, comparable to family reunions and anniversaries, it is his time to pass the torch to someone.

Dwight is dilusional in his thinking that he could get the job done without Kobe. Dwight needs to have a player like Kobe on his team in order to win. I don't view Houston's current lineup as a championship contender.

Done with all the Dwight talk now. Said all the F-Bombs I could say. He is gone and that is that. When we play them I want to beat them more then anything. But until then F them who cares.

I like the people on our team now. They want to be here and I believe they will play their hearts out. I'm hoping for a better year then expected. WOuld make up for last years debacle.

No doubt that we're all pretty much over this. Shelbourne's report was just very interesting. It makes me think how everything was playing out last season daily. If Dwight was mocking Kobe last season to Westbrook and Durant, what was he saying to teammates behind Kobe's back?

Now that he's gone, it'll be fun for the lakers to come play against the James-Harden-led Rockets. lol.
