Remember like 3 years ago when people were like dang, Danny Granger is a really good player. Then they made the playoffs and everyone watched him play and now we're all like ...wow he's ...so...bad for those types of numbers.
Even if people still considered him very good pre injury, he's been out for the entire season. He ain't going to go back to his prior form.
I might be wrong, but I remember Howard/Gortat actually was a shitty offensive line up for them. The only true big he played well with was Bass. That was probably the only good signing that Otis Smith had.
Part of that is because Stan never used that combo much at all. If the opponent has a limited SF, put Jameer/Reddick/Rashard/Howard/Gortat. If they happen to have an excellent onball defender, but limited SF, then Jameer/Hedo/Rashard/Howard/Gortat
I don't know. I like Granger, but I don't like him a lot. I think he's a good stats bad team guy, but can be a good player, just not on the Pacers. He should be traded to like the Hornets for EJ or something.
That's probably the best player they can get for Granger. Maybe EJ would stop getting frequently injured if he is with the Pacers.
