Yeah, I think I decided on getting a moped/scooter. 600 bucks will get you a brand new one, no special license, insurance is like 20 bucks a year, 80-120 mpg, 35mph, and I could probably fix it myself if it breaks. BRB jacking off.
While I was floating around craigslist at the start of my scooter research I saw a job at an ad agency I think I'm qualified for. They posted like a week ago, but f*ck it, why not?
I need to get a job somewhere, I might just slum it and apply at Best Buy or be a construction flagger person for a few months.
Oh ok, I don't think best buy would be too bad since its not commission based like futureshop is.. but I personally don't want to go back into retail once I graduate. If I can't find anything else I guess ill have to but still..
The Intouchables, despite it being French and having to read the subtitles, simply put is a great movie. The opening scene with Driss and Phillipe being chased by the cops only to end up having Driss talk his way out of trouble and into a police escort with a little bit of help from Phillipe’s acting was hilarious and set the mood for the movie early. Despite the predictable plot line it was a heart-warming movie where you could actually feel for the characters and didn’t care if you knew what was coming next.
The audio clarity for movie itself was fantastic, along with the choices of music throughout the film. There was an awesome visual scene as well like the paragliding one.
You could tell there was a real comfort and connection between all the actors as they played well off of one another in a way that seemed both natural and effortless.
For a movie that was trying to hit a few different categories (romance, comedy, drama, and biography) it managed very well.
I could keep going on but I think you get the point, what did you think of it?
