definetly gets hated on more than he should.

and I do like the motion... beat has a good vibe and Drake switches the flow up and in my opinion he killed it. Keep in mind, there are a lot of Toronto references in there that might not relate to you if you are not from here.

Do you guys like Thats Versace track? shits a banger... courtesy of Drake.

Never said he was a bad lyricist, his lyrics are ok I guess. He's just boring and I don't see why people wanna listen to him. The shit he raps about is just stupid.

He doesn't have much charisma or an interesting backstory, but his delivery is on-point and has good clever wordplay.

Saying he raps about "stupid shit" takes nothing away from his lyricism. It just means you don't like his content. Eminem rapped about "stupid shit" a lot too, but it doesn't take away from the fact that his lyricizes that "stupid shit" very well.

Lyricism and content can be separated.

The stupid shit Em rapped about was infinitely more interesting and entertaining. J. Cole raps about dumb boring shit in a dumb boring way.

That line was from Nobody's Perfect. Not one of his best tracks, no. If you don't listen to his music then how can you criticize it?

I don't know his music well enough to recite fvcking lyrics, I've heard enough to know I do not like it. Do you memorize lyrics you don't like?

Kendrick is clearly the best. I think he is clearly at the top of pyramid right now when it comes to rap. I'd probably have Wale next. I like his Seinfeld inspired mix tapes more than anything J. Cole has ever done tbh. J. Cole is extremely hit or miss for me but I still think he is a talented guy.
