Default Your most memorable NBA Draft Moment

Since most of the posters have been watching the NBA Draft for years....

What is your most memorable NBA Draft Moment from years past? It could be funny, surprising, ridiculous, outrageous, controversial.....

Well I was way too young to witness this draft, but looking back on videos from 80's drafts, I like the fact that David Stern looks like he's just stepped out of a gay bar.

of course, that goes without saying, but our draft day mistakes FAR outweighs the drafting of ewing

Not really. Artest wasn't taken until 17th? It's like anyone else knew he'd be THIS good. And didn't 8 other teams pass on Amare?

Every team "misses" opportunities in the draft. But teams make MAJOR MAJOR mistakes...like Sam Bowie pick....

Ewing's selection is bigger than any "mistake" Knicks made.....

dude, you gotta be kidding me. dont get me wrong i LOVE ewing (what knicks fan doesnt) but because artest fell to 17th gives more reason why the knicks should have taken him (instead of Frederic "freakin" Weis) It was just terrible scouting on the knicks part. Further more it was a strong draft that year (Hamilton, Brand, Francis, Odom, etc.) so its understandable why artest fell

as far as the year amare got drafted, we traded Marcus (wish we had him now) Camby and Nene for who.....MYDYESS who never played an entire season for us and who was well past his prime. stupid move. I will be forever grateful for the drafting of ewing but that seems like a ages ago. too many recent mistakes overshadows the drafting of ewing
