Yeah it's not too bad but it's all unnecessary. Really not much of a reason to switch to Windows 8 atm unless you like pretty colors or some bs like that.

Most people on here are kids who probably like the features and have no need for office files, but if you actually do work on your laptop and want to open multiple word or excel files at the same time, lol, have fun with that, and the pop up ads are insufferable.

wait what? How come I've never encountered these? Isn't the Xs still there in all right corners?

Yeah, OP's just had too much jizz to the face throughout his life. Apparently if we don't agree with him (despite him ranting about features that don't exist) we're sheep.

The OS is designed for touch-screen laptops, they should have designed one for desktop... but like i said and you've mentioned, there are plenty of third party software out there to correct that issue.

Took a while to get used to but it's way better. Windows 7 seems old now whenever I use it.

I give props to MS for trying something different. I'm sure the decision wasn't taken lightly as it forced its entire environment to adapt. At times there needs to be drastic changes made in order to advance. MS clearly had a goal and that was to integrate mobile and desktop and this was a bold move that needs to be applauded.

Metro is trash, not surprise Surface tablet is falling flat, PC sales also took a hit. They're pressure to release 8.1 but the start button is nothing like the old.

To think about it, there's absolutely nothin you can do about this, unless you stick with Win 7 forever

Been using windows 8 for work for maybe 2 months now, I love it.

We were caught in the trap of 'app vs program' for about 45 minutes until we learned about the differences.

Most of the complaints that you can't close office 'docs' are because you're using the app version(if you move the curse near the top of the screen it turns to a hand, click and drag to the bottom of the screen and you close the app).

If you use the desktop version of the same programs you're accustomed to using, you can close files(and programs).

It's a different way of functioning, but it's still all there.

1-please show me where I called anyone a sheep?

2-does jizz on one's face make it difficult to operate windows 8? please elaborate from your experience.

3-you acknowledge the flaw in your second paragraph but still decided to portray me as a lying homosexual, why are you so angry, do you sell this product for a living? It seems odd that you are so invested in the quality of something you fully acknowledge needs third party software to operate.

4-thanks to sixerfan82 for being one of the few humans in this thread.

carry on, lets do another lap of retard park shall we?
