Bucks top pick Giannis Antetokounmpo, Gary Neal sign deals
The Milwaukee Bucks announced the signings of free-agent guard Gary Neal and rookie forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, the team's first-round draft pick, on Tuesday.
Neal signed a two-year deal worth $6.5 million, while Antetokounmpo will make more than $3.6 million in the first two years of his rookie-scale deal, including about $1.8 million next season.
The 6-foot-9 Antetokounmpo was the youngest player in the NBA draft at 18 and played last season for Filathlitikos in his native Greece. The Bucks selected him 15th overall.
He played for Greece in the Under-20 European Championships and averaged 8.0 points and 7.6 rebounds while helping his country to a fifth-place finish and 8-2 record.
