Default 2013 Scoring Champ Appreciation Thread

2012-13 NBA season was a good season for carmelo anthony, led tha knicks to an atlantic division title, 2nd round semis, and number 2 seed in the east, winning over 50 games, and defeating Lebron and tha miami cheat 3-1 during tha regular season. A season where many people thought tha knicks werent was going to be that good especially Melo. Melo deserved his 1st and not last scoring title, and soon he will hopefully win titles and mvps in tha future. He's tha main reason why tha New York Knicks are finally back! 2013-14 will only gonna better, watch. What do you appreciate and love about his 2013 scoring title??

Despite promises from numerous players, Carmelo Anthony truly has made the Knicks relevant again. Do I see us as contenders? Not really. But I do see us as a perennial playoff team every year that he's here regardless of his supporting cast. I saw NYC under-appreciate Patrick Ewing when he was here, and while Carmelo Anthony isn't Patrick Ewing, I'm not about to under-appreciate his contributions to this team. He's contributed to more Knickerbocker success than any player in the last 13 years. Not to mention, he's done some phenomenal charity work both in NYC and abroad (something I don't take lightly). For that, I applaud that man. Kudos!
