Beasley immediately jumps out the first time you watch him - he's that explosive off the snap.
I like his pass rushing ability more than Mingo & Bruce Irvin when those guys were in college. I think that's who most will use as a recent comparison.
I don't know how well Beasley will hold up to defending the run, but he's electric off the ball. That's a tangible thing that will translate to the NFL. You either wake up in the morning with that or you don't.
he's certainly good but he was almost a non factor vs. fsu. also, he only weighs 235. not sure he can play on the line...he'll probably transition to OLB where he can be much more effective in space. definitely a 1st round talent but i don't know about 'stud'.
btw, hundley keeps showing why he's overrated. really inaccurate on his deep balls and on his second INT he had all day to throw.

stanford's loss last week looks even stranger. held a relatively high powered offense to 12 points and will probably be top 5 again when they face oregon. stanford's offense sucks though...they're like the florida of the PAC-12.
good god, fresno state's defense. they played the run on that last 20 yard TD and the FB went all the way untouched. their d line got mauled but that secondary was atrociously out of place. i think carr might be a 2nd round talent but he still does stupid crap. that 14 yard sack he ate was a major blunder. you can't be a top 25 team and have these kinds of lapses.
the SDSU kicker has never made a FG? lol, this is a weird game.
EDIT: kicker missed but it was deflected. can't really put it on him. definitely had the leg to get it there.
