Now our NT is screwed too - we're playing Spain in the quarters...

Props to Croatia. They were simply better today. Greece fought hard though, great game by both teams.

or Italy if they win vs Spain, which is unlikely. But I think we should win against either. Italy would be perfect matchup for us though. Don't see too much difference between Spain and Croatia tbh.

do you really believe those trigger happy italians will beat Spain? c'mon now dude, we got the worst matchup for us in the QF in the whole Europe. Spaniard guards will have a field day against ours and Rubio will probably set a steal record too...

I think Lithuania is playing better bball and has the weapons to win against Spain. It is a single game form now on, so everything can happen though.

Anyway, what a game betwen Croatia and Greece.

What a game! BOSSdanovic was clutch.

Pathetic tournament from Greece. Sad to see a country with such a strong basketball history and so much talent underperform three years in a row. Spanoulis really let his team down by committing two unncessary fouls and fouling out so early. Zisis made some big shots but that last miss was awful. A team with Diamantidis and Papaloukas would have never have blown this game.

Greece had 18 more FTs than Croatia too.

This spanish team has done nothing against good opponents. Only decent one they won was Croatia and they did not play at their level...

It looks like it'll be Serbia-Italy, France-Slovenia, Croatia-Ukraine, and Lithuania-Spain if the results go as expected.

So, the team with Spanoulis aka "the best player on the earth" lost to Croatia and is going home. Wonder what excuse Euroleague has now.

doesn't matter - they always play out of their skin against us. And if that won't be enough, refs will make a push and make them win anyway. I know because I watched all the games between these two teams, trust me

When has FIBA EVER shown highlights of an NBA star getting embarrassed? It's never happened in history.

It's probably in some kind of contract with the NBA.
