My ideal Super Bowl would probably be the Cowboys versus the Jags. Ratings masterpiece.

Peyton playing with bad defenses and no running game is nothing new.

That's what I was thinking. Looks like the post Edgerrin James days all over again. He's got talented receivers, but no run game to take pressure off the pass game, and a defense that can't get off the field which keeps him from getting in a rhythm.

haha I know. Just amazing how terrible of shape they are in. That franchise was legit obsessed overpaying their guys. Routt, Wimbley, etc just getting a disgusting amount of money. Not to mention all the terrible picks and Hue Jackson paying up the ass for Carson Palmer.

Colts had a solid defense...Freeney and that D line use to be nice...And a secondary led by Bob Sanders?

Also, Peyton for most of his career always had great recivers and a solid back. Ed James was pretty good...It's the play calling that makes u guys think this.

Manning's arm looks a lot better than last year. Dude was throwing knuckleballs out there last season.

They couldn't stop the run at all. Once they did, they won the Super Bowl. Not a Colts fan, but watched them a lot. They had a lot of undersized linebackers on their roster. They were about as finesse of a defense as you could get in he front 7.

The defense was built to protect leads, which they had more often than not thanks to Manning. But their run defense was trash. The one year it was really good they had Bob Sanders healthy and playing at a DPOY level, and they won the Super Bowl. But their defense, with Freeney and Mathis, was built to pin their ears back and rush the pass when teams were fighting from behind.

Exactly...Also for years Davis was always into getting track runners but not true smart football players...Thus the franchise being looked at as a joke, so whenever marquee players came, they would just collect a check and half ass it...

Pryor is the opening day starter, hope he does something good...Again, more wishful thinking.
