Default Top 10 NFL teams after week 15

1) Seattle - most complete team
2) Denver - best offense, but horrible defense
3) Carolina - efficient offense, with top notch defense
4) San Francisco - hottest team in the league right now
5) Chiefs - just scored 56 points and have probably the best pass-rush in the league
6) New Orleans - I know they beat Carolina, but they beat everyone at home. They are a different team on the road; with a loss this week they might not have any home games in the playoffs.
7) New England - injuries are just killing them, without Gronk I really can't put them any higher
8) Ravens - forming into shape for the playoffs, definitely very dangerous team
9) Bengals - great all-around squad, with a very good defense
10) Cardinals - SF & Carolina will most likely grab that wildcard (or NO's) which sucks because Arizona is clearly better than the Bears & Eagles/Cowboys.

HM: Dolphins, Bears & Chargers (in that order)

This is how I see as the favorites in the playoffs.

Add Philly in the HM list; I really like Foles. He is a baller, I just think their defense is terrible to make the top 10 list.

The Bears suck. They lost to the Lions twice and they are awful. Put NO at 3 and your list looks alright.

New Orleans are a different team on the road. They just look bad.
They have one more road game against Carolina... if they lose it, they don't have HCA throughout the playoffs. Carolina plays Atlanta week 17, so they will most likely win since the bye will be on the line for them.

I just can't put NO's that high considering their road struggles.

If Cutler didn't try to valiantly play through that game in Chicago, McCown would've obliterated you guys earlier. Don't hate cuz your pitiful team can't take advantage of two starting QB's in their own division getting hurt.

Lions beat a healthy Bears team early in the season. Actually they destroyed them. Have fun being a one and done team

Not that I care about power rankings, but Carolina 3rd? I'm not sold on them at all. How are they above the Saints who recently took a dump on their chest? Panthers aren't a top 5 team. The Ravens aren't a top 10 team, either. They've gotten some lucky wins lately. The Cards in the top 10? The hell? Outside of Denver, it seems like you just went with teams in the top 10 of scoring defense.

That's fine. Most reasonable fans didn't have high hopes coming into the season anyway. Can't say the same about the Lions.

I am getting a kick out of the idea of the Lions sweeping the Bears and still not making the postseason, yet the Bears still get in

I'm not so sure about them being "one and done" either. If the Bears win the division, they play at home and the remaining potential wildcard teams are not locks to win on the road.

As a Lions fan I have learned to keep expectations low. I didn't think they would make the playoffs this year. I thought they would be lucky to be .500 in the division and I thought they would finish at 8-8.
