Default Which NFL teams need to completely start over?

Simply put which teams in the league need to dump everything and start fresh

That's not how the NFL works. Most struggling teams are ones that need a good quarterback, or are awaiting their young quarterback to develop.

Well I see the Redskins have no QB, no RBs and no WRs, you could say the same about the Broncos. I guess what I'm asking is which team is the most incomplete overall.

1. Broncos- no QB, no WR, no RB, just no indentity
2. Redskins- same as above
3. Jaguars- Jones-Drew is wasting his career there
4. Titans- Hasselbeck is old, Johnson's should be traded since he needs a fresh start somewhere else
5. Dolphins- Head coach might be on his last thread.

Actually, the Broncos have started over if you look past Tebow and check the moves they've made the past 18 months. They've got some good draft picks coming up, so they'll be fine.

These days teams in the NFL don't go in complete rebuilding mode. The only team I could see try something to that effect would be the Colts if they drafted Andrew Luck and traded/cut Peyton Manning. Even then the Colts would hold onto players like Freeney, Mathis, Wayne contract is expring IIRC so he'll be gone , Clark, etc.

Exactly.

How is it not realistic? Its definately a possibility. You may not want to believe it being a Colts fan who has watched Manning over years and years of playing football. But reality is his health is a major concern. And there are alot of things that can happen by the end of the season which means where Colts are drafting and Mannings neck checkup to determine how his neck injury is. If Colts are picking #1 and the report from doctors say Manning neck isnt 100%? Guess what, Colts may not want to draft Luck ANd pay Manning that mega roster bonus he is due. I think its what $28mil?

I mean do we honestly know whats Manning future status? No. Even Manning doesnt know. So automatically ruling him out of being cut/released is being silly. Its a decision the Colts could face and I bet they think on it. They dont react by "lol for days" at the idea. And even Manning understands that as he's said if he aint healthy like he wasnt when he signed the deal? Then Colts have every right to sever ties to avoid a financial hit.

There is no way the Colts cut Manning. He either retires, gets traded or continues to play for us. Cutting him would never happen.

While it's not LIKELY, I could see it happening. If the Colts draft Luck, I could see them doing Manning right and letting him sign with whoever he wants. It'd be very hard to trade Manning considering his age, his health and his contract.

People NEVER thought they'd see Joe Montana play for anyone other than SF.
People NEVER thought they'd see Emmitt Smith in a Cardinals uniform.
People NEVER thought they'd see Tampa or New Orleans win a SB.
etc, etc, etc.

It's as simple as this folks - if he's healthy enough to play, he's a Colt or gets traded. If he's not healthy enough and his career is over, he retires.

It would be terribly bad GM'ing if he were healthy to play.... and they cut him with no compensation. Pretty sure you don't get conditional draft picks by cutting a player. Polian and Irsay aren't dumb. They would not, let me repeat, would not let Manning go play for whichever team he feels like without compensation to improve our team.

Trade him for what? If Colts cut him it means Manning neck injury hasnt got any better. So what NFL franchise will trade for Manning, his neck injury and contract?

If his neck injury doesn't recover completely or show signs of major progress before training camp next year, he's going to retire. If that type of neck injury doesn't heal or show signs of major healing in a years time, it's not going to heal correctly without more surgery, which means retirement for Manning.
