ESPN has Luke Kuechly as the DPOTY.
Earl Thomas 2nd.

Are you sure it wasn't some writer for NFL.com? Very misleading to say ESPN has that ranking when it could only be an individual writer and not a tally of all writers.

It was on my facebook bro.
The fact that the article said "Luke is edging Earl" for DPOTY makes me think it wasn't just his opinion but a tally.

Go check ESPN, it was on yesterday.
I'm not calling you out, I think your list is fine. I just think you're underrating the shit out of Kuechly.

He's probably the most complete linebacker, and easily one of the smartest. Him and Lee are pretty similar.

You don't think Keuchly is even relevant despite that he had a great year so far and you clearly are a colossal Brady hater to not even consider him even to be mentioned as an MVP when he did absolute wonders with that team that Manning would be 4-5 with probably at best.

Absolute most amazing job Brady has ever done to have such a team at 7-2.

You show to be a hater, to not watch any of the games at all, and to without any doubt know nothing at all about football.

Watt should easily be back to back DPOTY but the media will just go "his stats are down!!!"

Agreed. He's easily the best DP in the league. Team rec will hurt him though.

Updated.

Not much as changed. With the poor play of Hali & Houston in pass rush vs Broncos it widens the gap for Watt as the best defensive player - the question is will voters look past team record. I don't think they will.

Fletcher Cox will start getting recognition soon. He has more QB pressures than any other 3-4 DE (Philly hasn't had their bye yet), and he forced the pressure on RG3 this weekend that forced the game ending INT. PFF ranks him as the 2nd best 3-4 end, and he's been the best player on a defense that's been 6th in points allowed since week 5.

I have no idea why you have Watt at #1. He has little chance to win the award.

Which is a damn shame because no one on the defensive side of the ball is playing anywhere near his level.

No, he won't be up there

This vote might be unanimous in favor of Manning. If not, probably just 1 guy going against the grain picking Jammal Charles or something lol

Best defensive player on the best defensive team in the league isn't even a top 5? Sorry, you really need to educate yourself about Luke Kuechly.

Kuechly & Thomas are easily top 5 this year based on their impacts and production.
