How long has it been since Dallas won more than a single playoff game in a single season? How many seasons since back to back playoff appearances much less victories? I think it's safe to say no head coach is safe in Dallas as long as Jerry Jones plays the GM role. When the team fails, simply place the fault on the head coach; surely it has nothing to do with player personal decisions, right?

Until the day comes that Jerry Jones swallows his pride and brings in a legitimate personal manager the Dallas Cowboys will never take that next step to being any closer to being another SB winner. Luckily for the Giants, Redskins even with RG3 and their talent going forward are looking like trash even Philly with their lackluster start, looking the same. Jerry Jones has been the problem and has been many seasons now. As much as I'd love to place the fault squarely on Romo's shoulders I can't. It's JJ. Plain and simple.

PT ... as much as you love your 'Boys, can't you see the forest for the trees? I can respect you stand behind your owner, I just want you to admit he's the issue. Can't you at least do that shit.

2-time Super Bowl winner... doubt they can do much better than him.

I do think the players are tuning him out though. I wished he had retired after they won in 2011

If they just bomb the season, I could see Tom Coughlin being forced to "retire".

I am under the belief that he is jerry's illegitimate son.

Its the only thing that explains how he got his job and how he has kept it this long.

When he was Troys backup QB he was training all those years to be a coach...Garrett as a coach for tge Cowboys has been in the works for decades.

In a way he is like Jerrys son...Jerry has groomed him since college

If Garrett wins just one playoff game, I think he's safe. If not, I think he's gone, but who knows with Jerry.

Oh so now everyone wants to know when the last time Dallas won TWO playoff games...

Then it will be 3

Why don't we just skip all the way to Super Bowl win? Dallas won its last ring in 95. Which is much more recent than the Bengals or Eagles.

Greg Schiano
Mike Smith

Mike Shanahan. If the Redskins end up with a mediocre 8-8 year, i see Snyder pulling the quick trigger again and axing him.
