Default Tea suggestions

I don't want to drink coffee anymore, usually I can't pace myself and end up drinking too much which makes me crash. Last week I didn't keep track of of how many cups I drank but it must have been a lot bc I vomited the rest of that day and it all looked like coffee lol. I felt all jittery and my arm was twitching

Anyhow I found some Tazo Awake Black tea bags which taste pretty good but it has caffeine in it, I don't want to consume caffeine daily. Any suggestions for a good tea that can replace that morning coffee? I mainly want that surge of energy.

There's non-caffeinated peppermint teas, but that might be the best you can get.

OP - maybe try to eat some protein in the morning and drink Gymnema sylvestre Tea, this will help stabilize your blood sugar and will help you to contain clean energy throughout the day. Make sure to eat protein at every meal and I would advise you to snack with celery or apples in between your main meals. This will help to stop your cravings and you will notice an increase in energy almost immediately

Sounds ideal, even when I eat my blood sugar seems irratic throughout the day so I have a difficult time experiencing that natural energy state or at least baseline.

I'll give your suggestions a try, thank you.

No prob, protein in the morning is very important if you want to maintain your blood sugar. Just stay away from junky carbs like cereals and waffles. A protein shake is a good idea. Snacking throughout the day is also important, find some healthy foods that you wouldn't mind eating a bit of every hour or so. Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter, whatever you like... If you're consistent with this I think your blood sugar and energy levels will be where you want them and you'll notice you won't be craving any junk food. good luck

if you can tolerate a small amt of caffeine, green tea is obviously an awesome choice.

when i'm not in a caffeine mood, i like raspberry, apple, blueberry, peach teas for a sweet, fruity flavor.

but there's a large number of herb teas which have a reputation for health benefits. you basically gotta just experiment to find which work for you, since the X factor is always your own body.

at the supermarket, i would recommend trying out some 'morning blend' herbal teas... lemon zinger and such. celestial seasonings and bigelow make some, but there's probably many more...
