I hope you're right here...if you are, I'll even register your username for you. Ditching Raef's bad deal makes the trade more sensible.

Ratliff may be old but he only has 1 or 2 more years on his contract where LaFrentz had 3-4 years, and Ratliff still is one of the best defending centers and shot blockers in the NBA. He will make this team better.

Default Should've turned and ran like hell....We're through.

Maybe Danny Ainge has something up his sleeve?

Neeeh! I hope Randy Foye drops to the Blazers at #7 and make him feel like a retart.

Default Mchale VS Thomas

Granted McHale messed up the draft but his team atleast does OK for the season. Thomas wastes Dolan's money on overpaid and overrated players like Francis, J Rose, Marbury, and his past mistakes like P Hardaway, Mohammad, etc. Thomas is like a GM w/ brain damage.

This deal allows the Celtics to play Delonte West more as an off guard with Telfair as a natural point.

This trade won't deter the Celtics from still pursuing Philadelphia's Allen Iverson in a summer deal that is still very much alive with a third team still to be determined.

Oh, that sort of makes it look better.

Telfair, the backup to AI? Not bad at all

Yeah, I skipped over the Raef part, it isn't that bad.

Hours before the draft the Celtics agreed to trade their No. 7 pick, Raef Lafrentz and Dan Dickau to Portland for Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff and an '07 second-rounder.
