What game did you watch? Deep bombs? You mean like the ones where TY Hilton was wide open and then ran 50 yards for the TD? Or you mean all the drives that only kept going because of PI calls.

Wilson may have had a better defense and run game, but Luck had better WRs and a better offensive line, both also key to success for a QB. At the end of the day, they both had pretty equal passing numbers, but Russell Wilson had much much better running numbers. The difference in the final score? Colts defense FG block return.

Not to mention game was in Indianapolis. I wonder what the result would be if the game was in Seattle. Russell Wilson has never lost a game at home.

Agreed, Wilson is awesome but I'd still take Luck. Look at what he's doing with this Colts team. Seems like a genuinely good guy too.

Luck has met his hype and expectations as the #1 pick so far.

However Wilson has exceeded his expectations and is only going to get better.

The original underdog story wins everytime.

The stats favor Wilson too.

Word. Exactly. Luck is/was all hype. So much pressure to live up which admitedly he has so far. But like most, they look at yards. If you look closely, Wilson is better. Accurate. Less picks. More tds. More rushing yards. Keeping drives alive with his running. Huge advantage.

I notice all the people that type luck, BACK UP WITH NOTHING, just type he is. Classic. Filled with hype. All hype.

Numbers don't lie.

For all that type luck is, how /why is he? Please.

Good ole. Boy. Getting all the hype. Randall Cunningham, Doug Williams, all over again. Way in the blackround for a qb to get his props.

We're typing.

Hell no.

I write like a disgruntled black man sick of my main man not getting the credit he deserves. Sick of good ole boys "better" at qb for absolutely no apparent reason. You wouldn't understand.

Crackers gonna crack.

And the OP uses such convincing arguments.

Luck took over a team coming off a 2-14 season and is now 16-7 in the season and a half since. But hey, Wilson's raw numbers are slightly better. Who cares if he has, by far, the superior running game and had a much better offensive line until they started getting hurt this year. Luck had the Reggie Wayne advantage, but most of his other main receiving weapons were rookies last year, too.

They’d yielded three separate Seattle scores – a touchdown, a field goal, a safety off a blocked punt. On offense, they’d totaled 13 yards in 12 plays. To start the game, quarterback Andrew Luck was 2-for-8 for all of seven yards.

It was bad.

Then ... T.Y. Hilton happened.

With one, perfectly-thrown 61-yard spiral down the right sideline, Luck and Hilton hauled the Colts back in the ballgame. Hilton caught the pass in stride, juked the Seahawks’ last hope down the sideline and dashed to the endzone. The 73-yard touchdown was the longest his and Luck’s career.

You are the stereotypical seattle resident and seahawks fan.

Andrew Luck is better in EVERY facet of the game. Hes bigger, stronger, faster, stronger arm, more accurate, better football instincts, higher qbr, more athletic, better leader etc etc etc
