Greg Cosell of NFL Films went in on Wilson, basically saying that the guy is surviving on reputation alone and the media liking him for being a nice guy. He said that based on his in-game performance, he's been an average game manager for the past 6 games and that there's no way he takes any young QB over Andrew Luck at this point.

Cosell keeps thing as real as possible, when he comes out and makes a statement like that, it clearly resonates. He's never biased, just comes out and states what he sees on film. Not sure what happened to Wilson from the level he was playing at early in the season, but he hasn't looked the same. Cosell said he looks tentative, scared to make a mistake and is not throwing the ball very well right now.

As far as young QB's go, anyone who says they wouldn't take Luck is a damn liar. He's got basically no running game and a team with relatively little talent across the roster and he's carried them for 2 seasons now. Give him some more weapons and you'll see some much better performances.

Lol.

Super Bowl ring. 123 passer rating in Super Bowl. Has luck ever had a 123 rated game? Seriously.

Can't wait till next year when Wilson has his weapon healthy. Lololololol.

Luck will be better, but man, Wilson is a cold-blooded killer and already has a Superbowl ring.

And Wilson is an important part of the Seahawks. Their defense was amazing and won them the Superbowl, but you gotta give Wilson some credit.

90% of the starting QBs in the league could have won that Super Bowl on the Seahawks.

You can give him some credit. He doesn't make mistakes or dumb plays, but he'll still never be as good as Luck. He isn't the type of player who can singlehandedly win games. Not that anyone can literally, but a great QB can carry a team. The opposite happens with Wilson. He gets carried by a great team.

Lol.

Wilson hasn't HAD to as much. And when he has had to, he has.

People forget the 2012 playoffs. ??!!? On the road. won at Washington.

Led team from behind to take lead with less than a minute to play on the road against falcons. 24-36 for 385 yards. 2 tds 1 pick. 109.1 passer rating. ON THE ROAD. Smh. Smh.

With a number two receiver as number one. No LEGITIMATE weapons to throw to. No hall of gamers.

Smh. Smh.
Smh. Smh. This year you will see how good he is. Harvin will be healthy. Deep threat.

His smarts , accuracy and play making > luck total package

These are the same coaches complicit in allowing Russell Wilson to drop to the 3rd round? Gosh, I can't imagine any ulterior motives they might have for making statements like that.
