How about the 3 "offensive fouls" in a row last night. Those calls really screwed us over. Such floppers

Here we go Nets, off to the 2nd round and stupid Knicks fans are still crying at home. Gotta say I hope we sweep the Heat like we did in regular season, but realistically its a success if we make it to game 6. Never underestimate the willpower of Pierce and KG in games like this, especially the latter. KG has really stepped up in the last two elimination games, what a man and leader.

It was great to see KG being productive those last two games. Especially the last game. That was a tough matchup for the nets and they grinded their way through it. Exactly what they gotta do to get around Miami. Grind it and feed Johnson the ball

I think the series is over now, in the two road games we couldnt keep up with the Heat in 2nd half. Still, a 2nd round trip is my lowest expectation for this team during off-season so its not that bad, at least we didnt finish 37-45 did we?

brook seems to be missed, right around now.

if there's any plusses to this situation, it's not uncommon for two strong home teams to start off a series by sweeping their home courts. so there's not a huge level of hope, but there's indeed a certain amount.

just noticed that new yorker elliot gerard is the guy who's doing these cool illustrations. you can find more on coroflot and twitter.

That is an amazing picture.

We've been a really good home court team this season so hopefully we beat them again on Monday and make this a 3 game series.

Well it seems that at the NBA forum there are always posters saying how shitty the Nets crowd are, even the Pacers are laughing at us. Why is this happening? Is it just me or that the Nets crowd aint really as bad as they describe?

Disappointing end to the season but I'm excited to see what happens next year. You guys think BK brings everyone back together for one last crack at it?

livingston is the biggest re-sign problem, right?

KG-- it would be great if he retired and they brought him back as a big man coach / cheerleader. PP, who knows?

lopez and d-will... i would not be opposed to trading them both to replenish some picks / potential / better health.

the two drays-- would be nice to have them back, and it sounds like they can stay.

IMO just about the biggest offseason factor is finding players who fit the kidd mold. scrappers, hustlers, high BBIQ guys... nets can probably shed a lot of salary and remain just as competitive merely by getting the right guys. the anti-NY formula, so to speak.
