Poof there it goes.

How many games did it take the team to lose at home last year?

The difference between the niners and the Seahawks is that Seattle was out to be the champions of the first 5 games- niners are out to be the champions of the last 5. Sadly that's not the case for the Knicks. It's not like their growing through struggles to transform themselves into a playoff tough team. Woodson sets this up to be a regular season team so yes, early struggles are a problem.

At the end of the day, I could nitpick about Chandler and Prigioni. Knickscity can complain about Melo's inefficient shooting. We can get on Gringos about Bargnani. Scooter can remind us that he warned us about Woodson. End of the day, in retrospect, it really comes down to one thing. If you want to blame one man for this you can't look at anyone other than Amare Stoudemire. I know he didn't ask to be oft injured, but let's face it. You can't have a max player who gives you NOTHING.

I was watching the game, analyzing it as I normally do. After a while, I had to sit back and just stop myself. We aren't going anywhere with this guy on the roster. Our biggest problem is, teams can focus on Melo and not have to pay. If he has an off game (which happens to every player) or the defense is really locked in, we have no secondary scorer. We have no "Robin". Every good team has at least that. With that HUGE chunk of salary gone and no draft picks, we basically have no way of obtaining such player. Our only hope is to pray Amare becomes the player we signed him to be and I think we can all agree that probably is never going to happen.

For the most part I agree with this sentiment.

They probably trying to convince Melo that once Stat is gone they will make moves but can he be patient?

When your JR Smith is your 2nd best player the team will always be hit or miss. I'm hoping Bargs will find his game to become the number 2. Seems challenging to build around an ISO small forward.

All you have to do is get him to the baseline and play inside out with so e shooters. But playing him with no shooters then you're right he is just an iso perimeter player.

Carmelo wants to be like these other big time 3's. the thing is he isn't. He needs to play a power 3 and start possessions by getting the ball inside instead of finishing possessions by giving it to him outside the 3 point line.

This team isnt a championship calibur team or coaching staff as constructed but they will be in it though. Top 5 seed and let the chips fall where they may. A new winning streak starts tonight.

Losing tonite would be a disastrous.

Damn shame it has to be that way after only 4 games.

Need a win and not a close one either.

This is what the defense looks like without Chandler.

The bobcats have 64 points at the half.

They only average 85 for an entire game.

Woody is just letting them wing it right now. No offense. No real lineup rotation. This guy is just getting paid to scowl at people now.

I think he's gone before the end of the month.

Might be Friday if they lose to the Bobcats again.

I like Woody, but he ****ed the team up.

How do you not use preseason for chemistry? the team is lost out there.

everyone knew who we'd keep for those three spots and thats exactly who we kept.

i feel bad for Ike, that dude busted his ass out there, and got waived for Cole who doesnt play and Chris Smith.

Tyson left the Garden on crutches.

I also hate to speculate on what this idiot Woodson will do but the very last thing he should do is move Carmelo to pf w the starters. Chandler was the reason ny had to go small- Carmelo and Bargnani should play better offensively- they should start Kmart or even artest. Just don't go to prigioni.

I dont really see whats different this year in his coaching style as opposed to the previous year. The team had a huge rotation early last year at least 10 deep.

78-0 is still possible. just kidding

Its only the 4th game and currently Toronto, Brookly and Philly (2-2) are on top.

I'm not going to panic or jump off bridges.
