Russell will go #1 but he's not the answer the Raiders are looking for. That team needs major upgrades all over the field. To me fixing the O-Line is more important than making the media happy and grabbing a QB.

Depending on how the Raiders pick, the first 4 are set in stone. Assuming Russell is picked by Oakland, Joe Thomas, OT from Wisconsin will go to Detroit, Adrian Peterson, RB from Oklahoma will go to Cleveland, and Calvin Johnson, WR from Georgia Tech will go to Tampa Bay. After that it could go 100 differnt ways. I think it turns out like this

Russell - Oakland
Thomas - Detroit
Peterson - Cleveland
Johnson - Tampa Bay
Gaines Adams - Arizona
Alan Branch - Washington
Jamaal Anderson - Minnesota
Brady Quinn - Houston
Laron Landry - Miami
Amobi Okoye - Atlanta

Unless the Vikings choose to go WR and decide that Ginn isn't worth their while. Jarrett is definitely the second best WR in this class behind CJ.

Wide Receiver Rankings:
1. Johnson
2. Jarrett
3. Meachum
4. Sidney Rice
5. Ginn

I like your first 4 picks. That's exactly how I see it happening.. I think Arizona takes Branch though. And I don't see any way in hell Minnesota passes on Quinn if he's there.

I hate the damn 40 times being reported like its something great. What does running straight line speed without pads, contact prove? I like those agility tests where you're shuffling, changing direction, kicking it into gear and all. Beware of combine warriors.

I know just about everyone has Thomas going to Detroit... but would people kill Matt Millen if he takes Calvin Johnson? He's the best player in the draft and Detroit's WR's aren't exactly noteworthy, outside of Roy Williams. 4 first round WR's in 5 years is a bit much no?
