Was an article out today about Martz/Marinelli being happy with their O-line, don't think it's as desperate as everyone else does. And also a note about no lions official saying they're taking the best player available, as they have the past 5 years, which the journalist took as a hint against CJ.

They want to trade down for a MLB if they can't sign one.

The Browns won 9 NFL Championships from 1946-1964. Obviously, Jim Brown wasn't a part of all of those teams. I just listed him as part of the Browns vast tradition.

Jim Brown was a part of 2 of those championship teams.

Who is the best MLB in the draft? Patrick Willis? Paul Posluszny? David Harris?

Seems like a pretty bad year to try and grab a top-notch MLB.

P.Willis is the best MLB in the draft. He's a mid first rounder. No way Detroit trades down that far just to land him.

Ravens cut Jamal LEwis, Texans cut Moulds, Wiegart, Bengals LB Simmons

Yes, that is the problem, plus they wanted Fletcher but lost out on that. They could take a DE if they trade down, but they don't think they need DT, WR (if they sign Curtis), and even O-line it sounds.

But they just took a Tackle and the coaches already think they'll be alright as long as injuries don't take hold.

EDIT:

Quote:
f the Lions get both Bell and Foster, it will have a profound impact on their draft and would likely mean that they'll definitely trade down. With Bell and Foster on the roster, the need for Wisconsin tackle Joe Thomas or Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson is gone. The Lions would have more motivation to trade down a few spots and go after a defensive end like Gaines Adams or Jamaal Anderson. Or trade a few more spots and grab Mississippi middle linebacker Patrick Willis.

Broncos score a huge pick-up. Dre Bly and Champ Bailey

What's the deal with Kevin Jones for Detroit? Or are they just gonna go with the 2-back rotation.

Martz thinks he's OK. Martz is also a little bit loony. So I don't know.

I'm sure if they trade down they'll take a couple O linemen. They now have an extra 5th rounder with the Bly deal, and if they traded down they'd pick up another extra pick in the late 1st to early 3rd.

But who knows cos they're idiots.
