I'm a huge fan of Pippen, but like most I have to be a little sceptical. Anytime you're going to attempt a come-back at 40+ years, it's going to be very tough. What he's got going for him is the fact that he's at least not expecting to go out and play 40MPG that some might do, so at least he has got somewhat realistic thoughts about the potential comeback, coming off the bench not playing more than 12-15 minutes. Apparently he was at an all time low 5% bodyfat which sounds good, but obviously he won't be able to use his athleticism half as much as in his prime, and it's doubtful if he'll actually be able to contribute much on the offensive end. It's also doubtful if he'll be able to really contribute on the defensive end now.
If he can come back as a player/assistant coach/whatever, I'll be happy to just see him around, and I do hope that whatever he does, he doesn't disappoint us.
