I don't think so. He's a top 30 player of all time, and top 5-6 SF. Rick Barry is getting underrated in this forum. The guy was a former Finals MVP.

Pippen's best few years ('93-'95) may be better than Wade's last couple of seasons, though, and his first couple of seasons. But '06-'10 Wade was on a different level. Even in '11, really, as he showed in the Finals vs. Dallas, where he was insane.
Waded never been able to duplicate what he did in the 06 Finals. Add to that, alot of people feel that is overrated.

And even if you feel his 11 Finals was "insane", what about his 11 ECF? Where he played like shit.

Basically what we have here is nothing more than a few Heat and Jordan fans with an agenda. Nothing more.

first of all it's "led".
secondly, i have no doubt pippen could "lead" an all-nba-1st-team center to the championship as well.

You don't remember (or better yet probably are to young to have seen) Pippen in the 98 Finals game 6?

And if you want to knock Pippen for sitting out that particular play, which was a sign of poor sportsmanship, what about Wade and his antics? Hes one of the dirtiest players in the league. Breaking Rondos arm because Rondo stripoed him, kicking players in the groin, knocking players down. And hes a supreme crybaby

Lol, you can't be serious. Biases? Wade never duplicated what he did in the 06 Finals. Why? Because refs have never again parade him to the FT line at a record pace.

What about all the loses Wade led teams have had to endure? How about the 07 playoffs? When Kirk Hinrich bitch slapped him.

And Pippen never did nothing of that sort. *shrugs*

Why couldn't Pippen carry the load in 95, and help a somewhat rusty MJ? Can't use the Pete Meyers excuse there, he had MJ back!

It wasn't until the following year where the Bulls got back to winning, when the GOAT got back to full speed conditioning wise from his basketball hiatus, so Pippen could assume his true position. The sidekick. The Number 2.

You will never see Wade quit on his teammates because a play wasn't drawn up for him. I know that much.

Wade was out here taking over playoff games as a ROOKIE. What was Pip doing during his Rookie year?

Pippen would probably be a Top 5 player today, but he's not comparable to prime Wade. Prime Wade had some of the best seasons the NBA has seen and is more comparable to Jordan.

Or 28/6/6 on 59% TS (50% FG) with 2 steals and a block in the playoffs, en route to winning a ring. Is that not Jordan-esque?

Pip was a great player, but he's not able to elevate his game to the level of DWade in the 2006 Finals.

Wade when 100% healthy is pretty close to being as good as Kobe, some would say he's superior because of better shot selection or whatever.
