I'm a big fan of odd releases, I think they make the game more fun to watch. If everyone shot with the same form, the league would have less personality.

Personally, I've never found Ray's stroke to be one of the nicest looking in the league. He hangs in the air to much, and it doesn't look as smooth. Not saying he isn't a top tier shooter, but it's not close to the nicest looking shot for me. Same with Dirk actually. A tremendous shot, but it comes off as jagged a little bit. Just not smooth.

I've always loved Anthony Parker's release. He seems to gather himself before he goes up, looks very nice. Memo's I like. For some reason Brian Cook's shot always did it for me. It's a little bit off to the right side, but he releases it so fast, without any hesitation. I love Wade's release as well, although his shot leaves a bit to be desired.

Bron's is straight up ugly.

I thought that Vince had good form.

And even though Maggette is a bad jumpshooter, his form isn't that bad looking. His feet are square, elbow's completely straight, he doesn't from behind the head or the chest or anything. He releases it at the peak of the jumper. He's just not accurate with his shot unless it's a freethrow.

I used to like aaron Mckies shot when he was in philly especially the corner three he used to get on the iverson drive and dishes.

Yeah it is similar. Hell, their build, the way they play, and even their looks are pretty close to one another.

Another one is Sasha Pavlovic. Love that release.
