I can see Marcus being just as good as chris paul he is already a great passer than he gets to learn from Jason Kidd. Not saying he will be better but he has a good chance. p.s not this year I'm saying in the future

Please.... You need to watch some of the hornet's games and reconsider that statement.... There are just some things you can't teach... watch some hornets game and you will see.

mardy collins gives marcus williams a good matchup

mardy collins 6'6 - plays better d, averaged 17 a game

marcus williams 6'3

The two are totally different type of players, Williams might have a career very similar to marc jackson's, whereas Paul seems to be a lot more athletic and have better offensive skills as an individual, he could be compared with players like jason kidd or kevin johnson.

Like I said before, don't feed the troll.

The original poster is a huge WFU fan, and most possibly one of Chris Paul's prostates, so he wants to try to get a rise out of people by making ridiculous comparisons, hence having people complimenting and acknowledging Paul's accomplishments over Williams.

LAME.

For the record, Marcus will learn from Jason Kidd, shed his body fat, go onto a plyometrics program, and become the next Brandon Jennings to a tune of 23 points/5 rebounds/15 assists.

^Sike, but I wish.

marcus williams could be good, but i doubt he beats out chris paul EVER. Chris Paul is THE MAN and when i say THE MAN i mean all star like probably 5 or more times. its very likely Marcus Williams will perform worse in every single category as a PG his rookie year, i think he will be a starting point gaurd in the future but not on paul's level.

marcus williams is going to be a great player, but chris paul is playing 40 mins and has the opportunity to showcase everynight, while williams will have to wait his turn for the NJ Nets is still Kidds team to run.

are you on crack...this tread should be closed for stupidity....CP3 is probably going to be the best PG once Kidd and Nash retire....
