Raptors : B+ | Bargnani is good, but PJ Tucker should have been a guard choice

Grizzlies : A++++ | no explanation needed, we simply ***** Houston, plus got Lowry

isn't it more important to get a rebounder?

IMO id rather address rebounding with a veteran presence. i still wish we had taken Brewer. i like Cedric Simmons but we'd waste him for 3 years behind Webber.

we still got a top 10 guy in Carney who fell to us. im happy about that. the Bobby Jones trade was TERRIFIC. he's basically a better version of Matt Barnes (and before anyone laughs, Matt plays solid D)

Default Suns = F

The only thing stopping them from being a F is that fact that they are trying to free up space to re-sign everyone and MAYBE pick up SOMEBODY with the MLE.

Suns F

For giving away 2 picks they could've shipped Kurt Thomas' 7 million in salary or atleast lost the 2 mil owed to Eisley. To lose 2 draft picks to shave off 1 million in salary?!?! They deserve an F

Sarver = The new Donald Sterling

Toronto Raptors

B+

- Bargnani is a good pick but it's hard to believe that there were no good deals from Charlotte or Portland to trade down for.

- PJ Tucker is a great pick in the 2nd round. Colangelo went with best talent available and IMO got it. Tucker should give Joey Graham a run for his money as the backup SF. I was hoping for Bobby Jones here as the Raptors badly need depth at the 2-guard but oh well.

- Edin Bavcic. Probably another Remon Van De Hare who will never play for the Raptors. They really should have addressed their 2-guard depth here.

Best Draft: Memphis

Raptors B+

Andrea Bargnani
PJ Tucker
Edin Bavcic

I'm not entirely sold on Bargnani yet. Hopefully he pans out. PJ Tucker is decent. Averaged more rebounds than Lamarcus Aldridge. Not bad for a 6'5 guard.

Bavcic - seems like another Euro 6'11 perimeter player. No idea who he is

*Sigh*

Time to spin this thing.

Who do you want in the playoffs, Shane Battier or Rudy Gay?

If anything, this trade just shows that management is committed to winning a championship immediately.

Do I love the trade?

*Sigh"

Ask me tomorrow.

Houston didn't get fleeced. Battier is a damn good player, one of the most under rated players in the league. Great role player, hustler, does the little things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Houston doesn't need another T-Mac, they need good role players to complement Yao and T.

I think it's a good move by both teams.

Marcus Williams - There's got to be a reason he dropped so low. 14% body fat? That's pretty terrible, especially for a point guard that should be able to run the floor. If he has a good summer and gets into shape, then it may be a steal. Other than that, I wouldn't be too excited over anything.

Battier is great, I'm practically his biggest fan, just anyone from HH, but it's still a steal for the Grizz IMO

Battier is a better JVG player though, I'll give him that
