Official: Fire Billy Knight Thread
I know I started a thread about firing Mike Woodson, but this bozo must go with him. And here's why.
1. My first and most logical point. The best season we have had under the Billy Knight era (this year) is similar to the worst season the Hawks had under Pete Babcock.
2. When has this guy made a draft pick that everyone agreed with and who has actually proven to be worthwhile besides Josh Smith? He drafted Josh Chilldress over Luol Deng and Andre Iguodala, Diaw instead of Josh Howard. Secondly why would he draft Shelden Williams with the fifth overall pick in the draft? I know the guy is what we need, a rebounder and defensive player. But why not trade down and draft him ninth or tenth where most mock drafts had him and take a point guard in the second round. Dee Brown (Illinois) rings a bell.
3. What were you thinking when you hired Mike Woodson? No explanation to hiring that bum. He was an assistant coach for Detroit for one year.
4. Fourth and last. When has he used our money from having such a low salary to sign a good free-agent? This season he brought in Speedy Claxton. The guy was never good before hand why would he spend $5 million a year on this guy?
