With that said... ugh. Yes, let's throw away another draft. Sounds like a stupendous idea. I literally like none of those picks outside of Jackson. The idea of not using a single pick in the first three rounds on the WR position is absurd.

The Burleson and Hawkins pickups will help, but neither of those guys are WR2s.

I like his rationale, though... we should take Manziel because we have the kind of weapons who can make any QB look good.

Thankfully, this is just Kiper's dumb opinion on what Farmer should do, not based on any actual information.
I mainly love it for Donald going to Dallas...not just Manziel

I'll say this though...I do believe Kiper to be either a complete idiot or an attention whore genius who makes outlandish picks for that reason.

he had Manziel going #1 overall a couple weeks ago, so this actually seems reasonable for Kiper

Oakland Raiders impressed by Johnny Manziel: ‘Good kid, humble’

Quote:
After spending two days in Oakland to visit with the Raiders, who own the No. 5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, Johnny Manziel is leaving town after leaving a good impression.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Manziel’s two-day stay in Oakland left the Raiders impressed with one source giving him high marks on his character.

don't think Manziel makes it past Oakland's pick

It seems like if Teddy Bridgewater doesn't get picked by the Titans at #11 then he could experience a Geno Smith type slide. Although I read somewhere that the Cardinals could be interested in Teddy if he falls to the 20th Pick. That would be interesting for the Cardinals.

Also, it seems like Pittsburgh QB Tom Savage is flying up draft boards, and today Todd McShay said that he could be a 2nd Round pick and definitely projects as a second day pick.

some rumors floating around that Dallas could be in the mix for a potential trade up to #2 for Clowney if the Texans don't take him #1 overall

not sure I like that because they would have to give up a shit load...

This was a report from April 1st so I'm not sure its true but, Aaron Donald, the DT from Pitt, has said he wants to play for the Steelers and if the Bears (who pick right before PIT) pick him he would force a trade.

Anyone hear this or was it an April fools joke?

Not a bad mock. Unsure on Lee. Like the next two picks. Hard to predict the damn Eagles tho, they often never take who we think they will or should.

Apparently Manziel had the highest wonderlic score for this QB's draft class. Teams for w/e reason love that and there's no reason he shouldn't be the #1 QB.

**** no. We need a #1 receiver. We have Schaub. Grab a qb in a later round.
