My bad.

We'll see. Very interesting draft. Most undecided who teams are gonna pick in a minute.

I just hope Cleveland can kill it this draft and change the team's makeup enough to go toe to toe and knockoff the other teams in the division consistently. Their fans have suffered enough lmao, as much as my football fandom has seen bad days, the Browns have had it way worse.

Of course, the biggest question marks in that team's success have to be the coaching & executive decisions that are made during the season. They alone can drag good talent down.

This is a big draft for Cleveland to be a very well, overall built team. Of course, it seems like NFL/Cleveland fans say that every year.

It's morbidly amusing how Browns fans annually look to the draft that particular year to be the one that ushers in a new era with their franchise player or having multiple opportunities to get top end talent and it never seems like they can hit on that franchise guy.

Granted, it's a good thing that the organization has a trend of recently having multiple prime selections in the top 60 or whatever but the ones they hit on aren't game changers just yet or play at positions that don't have the type of impact to make them a winning team.

Hopefully this year, they can get their leader and playmaker at QB for the long term and maybe also find a stud who can run the ball and keep defenses honest until they have that guy under center who they can form a new identity with

I'm becoming less and less optimistic about this being the draft to get our franchise QB. I don't want to just take a shot "because" we feel like we have to.

If need be, build up the rest of the roster, take a flier on the best guy available in the middle rounds, and play Hoyer for the time being.

As bad as the franchise has been, we've never been in a position to take the "sure thing" QB at the top of the draft. The Colts are obviously the kings of tankage when the time calls. Browns are on the other end of the spectrum... seemingly always bad enough to win every game in their division, but a little too good to get the best possible target in the draft.

I studied AJ Green for years at Georgia, hoping and praying when he came out, he'd be the guy to turn around what was the worst receiving corps in the league at that time. What happens? Cincinnati takes him the pick before the Browns have a chance. Same thing happened with Patrick Peterson.

Luck/RG3... same thing.

It seems to happen every damn year that we're a pick away from the guy I really want.

Yeah, I hope the Browns turn into a good team. It will be so much sweeter to see them choke in games that actually matter instead of just being consistently dreadful.

And if he doesn't get drafted media is gonna say it was homophobia and not because he just isn't that good.
