The Eagles have released WR Jason Avant.

The Jaguars have released RG Uche Nwaneri.

Nwaneri is one of the better Offensive Guards in the league.

Why was he released then? Cap casualty?

IDK

how many extra point are missed each year on average?

it's seems like such a pointless (no pun intended) procedure

making it longer would would actually make it exciting to watch, and force more 2-point conversions

seems like all around an all around good thing...

Romo, Scandrick, and Sean Lee all restructure...Dallas now only $1 mill over the cap and expected to cut Miles Austin and restructure Ware's contract, or redo Ware's contract all together and ask him to take less because of his injury issues...

Ware may get put on the spot...being forced to choose whatever the Cowboys offer him or get cut and take on the open market

Are you expecting Dallas to make a good offer? Because Ware would get shitloads of interest as a FA?

And 1 out of of every 212 extra points is missed.

Not so sure, I'm hearing lots of mixed opinions...stephen jones is the one that is in charge of finances and some are saying he is a genius for being able to get all this under the cap the way he is...like all of this was anticipated and planned out.

And then there is the normal brainless finger pointing at Jerry and saying "he spent too much!!!"

Nothing is broken though, we didn't lose anyone yet...

Both Dez and Tyron Smith are due large contacts soon...and I am sure Stephen Jones will create those contracts in a way that they can be restructured, knowing for fact that they WILL be restructured for sure down the road.

When does the Cowboys restructuring of deals start to hurt them? Every article says them restructuring so many deals now will hurt their cap situation in the near future but none explain why.

Teams can manipulate contracts by converting salary into signing bonus. It's a year by year patchwork fix, but it's effective. When it's time to pay up those big deals in the last years, they'll just release them and absorb the dead money.
