I would've preferred McGowan to just blow the game himself. He's not a good pitcher anymore and he's not long for the rotation with the way he's pitching. I'd rather see Stroman replace him sooner than later.
When I posted that, McGowan couldn't locate (I think it was second inning after the wild pitch), but all of a sudden, he found the strike zone and actually pitched half decent. Looks like his swing and miss ability is gone, and that's big for a velocity guy like him. It's not like he paints corners.
