I would've preferred McGowan to just blow the game himself. He's not a good pitcher anymore and he's not long for the rotation with the way he's pitching. I'd rather see Stroman replace him sooner than later.

When I posted that, McGowan couldn't locate (I think it was second inning after the wild pitch), but all of a sudden, he found the strike zone and actually pitched half decent. Looks like his swing and miss ability is gone, and that's big for a velocity guy like him. It's not like he paints corners.

I really wish the Jays signed a starter. It's painful watching Happ and McGowan taking up 2 spots in the rotation.

Is Juan Francisco the next Edwin Encarnacion?

If only this team had an extra starter or two

I wish there was somebody who would take lind and a prospect for a starter.

Unless he becomes something more than useless vs lefties, he's the next Adam Lind at best. Which still isn't bad.

I know it's only 1/4 of the way season but how about the AL East Division Leading Blue Jays.

Imagine if they had decent 4 and 5 in the pitching rotation.

Going to face the top team in baseball now.

Next 16 games are going to be interesting. Hoping the Jays can secure at least .500 record.

Imagine if this team had signed Santana.

I think we are going to regret letting him go.

We didn't let him go. He backed out of our deal when Atlanta offered him a chance to pitch in the weaker NL.
