Default Re: We stink

There is no excuse for Marbury missing that free throw but damn....cut the

guy some slack...he kept us in the game with his excellent play and he was

obviously distraught over missing the free throw yet there are some *****

pump fans saying he can't handle pressure and he needs to be traded.

Traded? but I guess its ok that we have 2 other pg's that have been

liabilities all year. Let's not forget we the guy has numerous amounts of

buzzer beaters and he's putting up some of the best numbers in the last

month as any other pg in the game.If your gonna hate, hate for a valid

reason. Not just cuz you don't like the guy.

As for the Knicks stinkin...yea its true but hey...we are way better off than anyone could have logically expected in the beginning of the year.

It's business, trade him while he has value.

By the time the younger players are ready, if they ever are he will be too old and really on the down side.

That's how you build a winner. Like they should have traded Patrick Ewing well before they did, when he still had value.

The Miami Dolphins hired Jimmy Johnson as their head coach. He wanted to trade Dan Marino while he could have gotten a lot of draft picks for him, that's how they did it in Texas with the Cowboys. The owner said no, Johnson left and look at the Dophins......they haven't done too well.

I think that's why Riley left, he wanted to trade Ewing and start to rebuild.

As a fan you don't want to see your favorite star traded but for a team to keep being a winner they sometimes have to.

Let me throw this by you, if Len Bias had turned out to be the next coming do you think the Celtics might have traded Larry Bird to Indiana for draft picks?

whos going to take him he has a terrible contract and a terrible rep, hes had a good year but lets be honest teams arent going to be knocking down doors to get him, we all know hes not a winning player or a team player.
