I'm just wondering. I'm 6'7" 210 pounds. Is that in the ideal weight range? I feel a little thin, but not rail thin. I exercise quite often and am not sure if I should just stick to what I'm doing, or try to bulk up.
Perfect weight for what? Basketball? Normal living weight?
Yeh 210 is a healthy weight at your height. You could if you wanted to get some muscle on your frame and be about 225 and still be healthy and fit.
As long as I'm in a healthy weight range. Someone called me skinny earlier today so I told them they were just fat. When I first reached 6'7"(1993), I weighed 185. Now, that is skinny.

Yes to light at 6'7''. You could get some oats in the morning inbetween say breakfast and lunch. Lift weights 3 days a week and have a protein shake right after workout and some cottage chesse before bed and get a nice 15 pounds of muscle on in 4 month.

225 sounds like a nice solid weight. I was always skinny as a kid. I still remember my height/weight by age:
Yeh as you get older your Matabolism slows down. Now is a great age to add muscle without if burning off easy.
I'll give it a shot. When I was a teenager, it was impossible. I don't know how I ended up that tall to begin with. Neither of my parents are over 6'2".
Big different there. During them years did u do more excersise and stop?.
yeah, during my junior year in Highschool i basically didn't exercise at all. I didn't make my HS b-ball team that year and started eating pure junk food. Then in summer when I actually checked my weight on the scale and saw 195 i was like WOW!! I gotta lose weight. So I exercised probably the most i've ever done in my life that summer,( starting in June), and had it down to 163 by the time i started school again in August.
bump..
next problem. after spending some serious time in the weight room, lifting weights, running on the treadmill, bike, etc.. I think that I would have increased stamina on the b-ball court. So today I go to the gym and play a game of one on one with a friend. Within 20 minutes I was EXHAUSTED!!! I mean to the point where I could barely stand up on my feet. Any suggestions of how I could increase stamina?
2. If I pick a certain distance, lets say a mile, will i burn the same amount of calories as if I walk the mile?
Its actually just a myth. I mean, a mile is a mile is a mile. I doesn't matter if you crawl or fly, you'll finish the same amount of distance and since the burning calories part is directly related to the amount of distance you cover, its all the same.
3. How in the hell is it possible to burn more calories than you eat... unless your diet consists of only fruits and salad...
That's all you can pretty much eat. The best way to fix your breakfast actually is to drink grass soup. High protein and fructose and you can actually pick the grass out of your backyard and put it in a juicer along with some mushrooms and banana peels to give you the healthiest breakfast. I know it sounds nasty, but its the best way to kick start that metabloism.
ok no offense, but you shouldnt be giving advice here. To answer question 2, of course you'll burn more calories running.
And terrible advice on question 3 as well. Your body burns 75 calories an hour just living, so add in some activity, and your burning around 3000 calories a day. eat clean foods like chicken, oats, beef, fish, rice (brown if u can), protein shakes and fruits. Don't eat any of that disgusting **** this guy told you to.

lol, thanks. question though, would protein shakes make me gain weight? I'm not trying to become skinny but i want to burn fat and gain muscle.
