Damian Lillard hits legendary shot for Trail Blazers
The Oregonian's Jason Quick declared Damian Lillard's Friday game-clincher the best shot in Trail Blazers history. It's hard to argue with that given the stakes: final second of a series-clinching game for the franchise's first playoff series win in 14 years.
But some people prefer that memorable Brandon Roy shot -- also against the Houston Rockets -- from 2008. And, still, there are plenty of others. As Quick points out: "Maurice Lucas hit a game-winner to beat Denver in Game 1 of the 1977 Western Conference semifinals, a shot that continued the Blazersí unexpected journey to the NBA title."
