rebounding is a killer for this team, we're back in it but they keep getting second shot opportunities and put backs like they just did 2 seconds ago.

When they rebound and force turnovers, they played well and closed the gap. THey stopped playing defense and had too many 1 shot possessions that killed them. The Kings need a Camby/Chandler guy in the middle to get offensive rebounds and make stops in the middle.

basically, it was a horrible loss and the team was sleepwalking. early game, and nobody but mike bibby actually showed up. eric musselman has got to go, not that today was ALL his fault, but in the fourth quarter, we had no offensive playbook. it was just...lets go down there and get a random shot, hope it drops. and if that's you're gameplan you're going to lose 99% of the games. kevin martin played like crap.

Why we lost:

No energy: the team was sleepwalking, there was rarely a big play, it really looked like they could have been doing something else instead, especially ron, we simply did not deserve to win this game.

rebounding: i sware it happened like 10 times, the nuggets miss a shot, somebody tips it back in or gets the rebound. brad miller and shareef, good god, they can't box out for ****.

the bench: ...*owl hoot*...

**** coach musselhead.

That helps, but this game was huge. Not only would it have been the tie breaker, the kings would have gained more ground before a road trip. We could be looking back in a few weeks and see this game as the turning point and reason why we didn't make the playoffs.

P.S. this loss ended the 20 game win streak against the nuggets at arco (10 years)

exactly, you can't be relying on other teams to lose instead of on you winning.

Can someone tell me WTF happened? I watched parts of the game but I was more concentrated on Texas vs Kansas U. on CBS and I had family over. I heard Mike Bibby got hurt? The main thing that pissed me off is Muss draws up no plays for Kev and he doesn't get any good shots. Also the fact(and only thing I actually remember) that he kept our starters in during garbage time while we could've been giving the young guys PT.

Then I went and played ball at the park and got cracked in the head by some elbows so I went to the doctor and found out I prolly have a concussion. Don't remember much about this game...

he had them in there because he said...at home, he thought the game wasn't over and they could make a run. he had artest playing because he thought he needed to get into game shape, . he said he could've taken out bibby earlier, though. and lastly, he wanted k-mart to get out of his little shooting slump so that he can get some confidence going onto the road.
