MArion would be an allstar, just look at all the hustle plays he makes. Those have nothing to do with Nash and those plays are what got him into the allstar game.

So you want me to believe the Mavs gave up Walker, Finley and Nash to get Dirk TWO more shots a game?
Are you serious? Or are you just typing stuff to see your words on the internet. And as you can see, his second
highest ppg average happened in the 2002 - 2003 NBA season. Now put a quarter in your ass cause you played yourself.

you truly are a moron, and obviously someone who doesn't watch a lot of NBA.

Guys like Walker and Finley demand a lot of touches and hold the ball a lot on offense, this means the offense goes through Dirk a lot less

even a casual fan could pick up on this

when the Mavs got rid of Nellie, that style of play and those shooters, the focus went to defense and team play with Avery as the coach

the new offense was set up to feature Dirk MORESO than the old one did

please go away

1st off only a moron would watch a lot of NBA and feel smart about it.

How about Dirk getting better as a player with time? No? I bet you like your logic better. The Mavs just figured out only two years ago to feature Dirk more in the offense. I think someone important should know that you know more about basketball than Nelly.... (Furtado)

Oh year how do you go from Dirk "getting more looks" to the offense "going through"... how low are you gonna go? The Mavs got rid of Nash Finley and Walker so Dirk could have more Gatorade?

No seriously how are going to pretend like you weren't implying Dirk getting more shots without Nash Finley and Walker.

That "offense flow through Dirk" bit was extra lame.

he will get more shots without Finley and Walker

he averaged almost 5 more points a game when they left

Dirk shoots around 50%

do the math retard

that is like an extra shot every quarter

I actually did the math

ya big dummy

Year - SPG
02-03 18.61
03-04 17.01

04-05 18.52
05-06 19.3

Those are his shots per game for his last two seasons playing with Nash and co. and his first two years with out Nash and them... Now show me where the F-CK he is averaging 5 more shots.

Yeah yeah yeah I know "0NE50 your a jerk"

Default Re: "Would Shawn Marion be an All-Star without Steve Nash?"

so nice you post it twice

next time try not to use the dewey decimal system

here is Dirk with(03-04) and without (04-05) the afformentioned players:

03-04 21.8 ppg
04-05 26.1 ppg 4.3 more ppg

03-04 77 games played
04-05 78 games played

03-04 1310 fga
04-05 1445 fga 135 more shots

03-04 423 fta
04-05 708 fta 285 more free throw attempts

135 shots + (285 free throw/2)
= 135 + 142.5
= 277.5

277.5 is approximately how many more attempts he had

divided by 78 games

= approx 3.6

when rounded up = 4

so one more time

STFU
