Wrestling died when they ****ed up that "invasion" storyline when Vince bought WCW after Triple H was injured too for a year.

They could've overcome the loss of the Rock and Austin had they handled a few things better, like Jericho. And now that Jericho has moved on I have no reason to watch that crap.

Honestly, no one wanted to see the WCW wrestlers when they were on WCW for a reason. They were boring, lacked charisma. WCW has better "wrestlers" than the WWF did Imo, but that wasn't what was fun. The storylines and gimmicks were fun, and WCW couldnt provide that. Suddenly, you have a million bland wrestlers with dull personalities dominating Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. BLah.

But maybe i was just getting too old to watch wrestling. Maybe i would have lost interest in it no matter what was going on with the storylines. But whatever. WCW wrestlers suck.

Instead of watching Raw and Smackdown, I'm catching some old school WCW/NWO Nitros from back in 96. The great thing is, that it's every single one, the guy that uploads them does them week by week. There's a whole bunch of good stuff IMO, much better than today. The NWO was the sh*t.

This may show a problem in WWE right now, they can't built any new megastars in past 3 years. They still have to use guys who were megastars but don't wrestle regularly anymore. The Rock, if I heard from the right source, is still in WWE contract but has been busy acting. Steve Austin cannot wrestle at high level anymore and be only in WWE's movie contract. Mick Foley appears there just to make cheap pops and sell his books.

I think the best year was '95. Shawn and Diesel both turned face with Diesel holding the title for almost the entire year. Undertaker won two casket matches. Both Harts were cool. There were a ton of good matches in '95:

HBK/Diesel at Wrestlemania
HBK/Jeff Jarrett at In Your House: 2
Undertaker/Mabel at In Your House: 5
HBK/Razor Ramon at Summerslam
1-2-3 Kid/Hakushi at Summerslam was extremely underrated
Diesel/Bret Hart at Survivor Series was an excellent match
Bret Hart/Jerry Lawler at King of the Ring was great
