There wouldn't be a single team in the Atlantic that would make the playoffs if they were in the West.

Right now the Raps would be in sixth in the west what are you talking about.

Quote:
Miami and Washington are better than the 2 best teams in the Atlantic, still has to be Atlantic

the Raps beat Was twice. The Raps are just as good as the Wizards and have a better record than the Heat. Hmmmm wow people be hating on the Raps..lol!

Please. The Raptors are the flavor of the week. They are going through a hot streak right now. This team is still waaay too young to do anything in the playoffs.

If the playoffs started today, Toronto matches up against Chicago, while Miami would face Washington. I'll take my chances with Miami getting out of the first round on that one, especially with all indications pointing to Wade returning..

Bulls probably sweep the Raps. Even an experienced veteran playoff team like Indiana would beat Toronto if they faced in the first round.

Are you seriously that clueless? The Raptors have that record because they play in the Least! They play Boston four times a year instead of facing the Suns four times a year.. gimme a break.. If they played in the West, they're under .500 GUARANTEED. They're too young to contend.

The Raps have a better record than the Heat because they have not been healthy all season. No Shaq for first half, no Wade for second. Damn, you Raps fans really reach to make your team look good..

All teams have dealt with injuries this season, The Raps have had key players injured for stretches too.
And FYI...the reason Miami is playing well right now is quite obvious...Eddie Jones has been reborn.
We don't have too reach too far to make our team look good. We've beaten some really good teams since Xmas. Our record stands for itself...no reaching involved.

I am saying that Toronto can get through the first round. It is not the greatest scenario but I think they can. Plus you saying the raps wouldnt be able to get by Indiana is a laugh and a half.

If you watched the Raps you would have known they have had several injuries including Bosh/ Garbajosa/ TJ / Parker and so forth so that ain't an excuse man Injuries happen if the rest of the team can't hack it then they're not as good as you thought now are they. You also said nothing about the Raps being in the western conference. You can't really say that either b/c they're not so let's not make it hypothetical. They are in the East and always will be. They're magically not gonna get transported to the west

The Raptors are 23-11 in the year 2007, and are 12-6 since February when they had arguably there toughest stretch of the season. I wouldn't exactly call it a "flavor of the week" type stretch. We've been consistantly good since our 2-8 start, 33-21 since that is nothing to dismiss.

We may be young and would have great difficulty with Miami, Chicago and Detroit - but then again, basically every team in the East is going to have trouble with those 3 times, because there arguably the 3 best teams when it comes to the playoffs. I'd take my chances with the Raptors beating the 8th seed (Knicks, Nets, Magic), Indiana, Washington, and maybe even Cleveland.

Thats 31 Games total so that is approximately 39% of our season plagued with injury with Morris Peterson and Anthony Parker being solid defenders, TJ Ford being our go to PG and Bosh being our All-Star...We have a cheap team also, we dun need to go out and buy a 20 million dollar player to be a contender....Colangelo is smart and went to Europe...Bosh is our highest paid player and he is less than 15.....Chicago, Washington, Detroit, New York etc. try to buy their championships....Just wait till the offseason comes and we pick up a solid SF...

thats 33 games combined, shaq himself missed 39

wade has played 46 games so far, he'll likely play less than 50, that means the heat superstars will miss over 70 games combined this season, not mentioning riley taking his classic Bs leave of absence in the mid of the season.
