The Cavs have a tendancy to just stand around and watch LeBron when he is on the court. When he isn't playing, they know that they have to move the ball to get a good shot. They have no one to bail them out.

The Cavs have been good without LeBron, but you also need to take into consideration the opponents. I believe they've played 3 games this year without LeBron. Those games were all at home and against the Kings, the Warriors, and I forget who the other team was... but it wasn't anyone good.

I'm glad to see the role players step up when they had to. I'm not one of those who think that the Cavs are horrible minus LeBron. They have some good players and definitely enough fire power to beat a team like the Kings at the Q.

That said, if the Cavs had to go on a long stretch of games without LeBron, it would catch up to them.

Historically teams play better without their superstars........in short spurts. You know how it goes, ever been to the gym on a team that is clearly outmatched on talent? The team rallies together, makes the extra pass plays hard to not be embarrassed and sometimes grits out a few wins. Its the same way in the NBA. Let Bron miss more than an isolated game at a time and the teams' true colors will show though.

If you replaced LBJ with Nash how many games would the Cavs win?

Because while people praise Lebron for being able to do everything on the court, he simply dominates the ball too much, and sometimes can take bad shots and phase others out of the offense.

He overdribbles and doesn't work within the offense enough.

And it can't hurt to get his "defense" out of the lineup

A stat that they showed during the game tonight... On average, the Cavaliers allow the fewest points out of the small forward position in the NBA (11ppg). That has more than a little to do with LeBron's vastly improved 'defense'.

I think it is quite the opposite of what you say. LeBron doesn't have to dominate the ball to be effective. He has shown on most occasions that he is a willing passer and he will go out of his way to find the open man. It seems to me that, when LeBron is in the lineup, the other players tend to stand around and wait for him to score instead of trying to get open. That isn't LeBron's fault.

His team needs to quit relying on him so much to bail them out and play their normal game.
