Tim Duncan is quietly anchoring the best defensive team in the league again this year. If anyone has watched the Spurs this year, you'd realize how valueble Duncan is. Bruce Bowen has been utter trash.

Can anyone really point out one great defensive player.. this might actually be one of the toughest DPOY races ever.
He leads the league in blocks (i think), he plays great help and weakside defense. He has to be in the conversation.
Camby's stats are worthy but a bit inflated due to the high pace the Nuggets play. If he is so valuble, they why are the Nuggets such a terrible defensive team?
that's where i got it. You hit the nail on the head
good on me then huh?
Do you think any other players could be considered though, bcoz for some strange reason I dont see Tim Duncan winning it, and 'analysts' will most likley think up about 100 about why Josh Smith shouldn't win it.

finally someone who says it, if you are so good deffensivelly why your team sucks at it ? "but its a team game and his teammates suck" whatever, if you are the best defender in the league you'll make a defensive impact anywhere, period, last year when the kings got artest they allowed around 7-8 less ppg than before they got him, and lower fg% too, i think it's duncan this year, he anchors the best D in the league and rebounds and blocks shots well.
