Re: Hibbert and Hawes
I think Hawes should go in the lottery because he is so young. You don't have guys that can score like him that young very often. If he improves on defense I think you could see him as a starter for a while in the league. I think he would be a good fit with Detroit who probably has Orlando's pick, or with the Timberwolves or Kings.
As for Hibbert, he isn't as unathletic as some people were making him out to be. He is already a pretty good player in most aspects, but I don't know how much he will improve. I think he uses his size to clog the lane, makes some jumpers, and plays good D. He will never be Shaq, but he could be Brandon Haywood. That means a solid 7-10ppg, 6-8rpg, and over a block. Not bad, but I'm not sure you look for that in the lottery. I would predict him going more to a team like Atlanta with Indiana's pick, Phoenix who has a couple picks late, or maybe the Rockets to back up Yao if he lasts that long.
