Default Draft Suggestion

short and brief... If Marco Bellineli is available we SHOULD SELECT HIM. We should try to acquire a high second round pick to select Sean Williams.

PG--> Stephon Marbury/Steve Francis/Mardy Collins
SG--> Jamal Crawford/Marco Bellineli/Nate Robinson
SF--> Quentin Richardson/Renaldo Balkman/ JJ
PF--> David Lee/ Sean Williams/Malik Rose
C--> Eddy Curry/Channing Frye/ Jerome James

Waive Kelivin Cato

we get the outside shooter we need, who can handle the ball, and, if needed, spend some time at the point. We get a promising forward who is a shotblocking presence. He can be molded into a solid rebounder much in the form of Theo Ratliff. We should use the veteran presence of Malik Rose and Quentin Richardson to keep him out of trouble. Steve Francis prob. will be traded soon, so we need to work on a acquiring a sturdy back up point guard who is a respected veteran and a leader, as insurance on Marbury's tendinitis. A second coach on the court. And we need to work on making David Lee more of a perimeter threat, so that he can spend some time at the 3, as insurance on Q-Rich's back. I honest believe that he has all the tools to do what Josh Smith is doing in Atlanta.

Getting rid of a player? Get rid of Francis, James, Jefferies, Robinson and Rose. Maybe even Crawford. Keep players that want and know how to play. Or at least are willing to learn. Just like Curry has shown that he has the will to adapt. Either by losing weight or taking some lessons from Mr. Mark Aguirre. That's what the Knicks have to do.
