Well said. He's extremely raw and very "sometimey" on the glass. There are games where you will think the refs told him he's not allowed to rebound.

I was impressed by Curry as well. His shot is basically a replica of his dad's.

He's only a sophomore but what about Maynor from VCU? If he can have a good showing against Duke (I'm assuming the don't get the upset), maybe he leaves early. His defense fullcourt and on the perimeter is stiffling. You don't commonly see d1 pg's get cleanly picked as easily as he does it.

He's a heck of shot blocker. Shame he's such a moron...I wouldn't mind seeing the Cs bring him in with the second round pick.

Bryce Taylor I think his name is from Oregon. Kid was on fire like I've never seen. Watch out for Oregon, and this automatic scorer.

Well, he's not little known but I love Drew Neitzel's game. When he's on fire, you can't stop him.

Everyone knows about Corey Brewer, no one on UF's starting 5 is "little known."

Sean Williams shouldnt be drafted...should go as an unsigned rookie free agent.

Then he impresses in the Summer League, gets ready to sign a three year three million dollar deal, but gets arrested the night before.

Default Re: Little known NCAA players who you are impressed with so far...

Shawne Marshall from BC...I believe that's his name. He is kind of like a blob out there...kind of seems a little too big to be a SG...but dude can stroke it...and seems to have some basketball savy. Probably not an NBA player or anything...but he'll make cash somewhere playing ball.

Edit: Just looked up his weight...6'6" 212...so not exactly a 'blob' but he seems slow as ****.

All he had to do was take and pass some cupcake classes and stop smoking weed for a few months (not asking you to quit, just take a break!) and he gets to help BC get to the Final Four this year and in the summer he's guaranteed to be a first round pick, maybe even a lottery pick (especially if the Cs are out of the Oden/Durant sweepstakes and find themselves picking 8th or something). But no, he couldn't exhibit even that much self control, he had to go **** it up, and now he's probably going to have to make a team (draft express has him in the middle of the second round)...which he can do, but he'd make more money if he was in the first round, and more importantly, there will be more and better parties around here if BC makes it to the Final Four, which could have happened with Sean Williams...might happen anyway, but Jared Dudley would have to turn into Paul Pierce.

From Maryland I like both Ibekwe (Sr) and James Gist (Jr). Both those dudes have Amare type athleticism, but then again both are also like 6'9 with lacking ball skills but you can bring him in undrafted and see what he does. That is, if we give up on Pops already

Mike Jones is another guy I'm interested to see how he does in the NBA. When he was coming out of high school, he was looking like a Ray Allen clone but his career seems to have been somewhat of a disappointment from what expectations were. Seattle should bring him in and let him learn under the real Ray.

He's worth a second round pick. Second round picks can often be signed for unguaranteed deals, so that if he continues to screw up, you can just get rid of him, and as a second rounder he's not that big of a deal. It's a good pick to take a chance on a talented player with issues. Better bet than getting someone with a good rep but low potential.
