Cutler isn't top-10 at all... WTF

The BIG-4 are still the BIG-4...If your top-4 isn't Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, Brees then your list is wrong, it is after those where it starts to become difficult.

This is the same guy who said he would never question Luck again if he led a comeback vs. the Chiefs in the playoffs.

Luck is deserving of top 10 status.

Lol.

This year bruh.

Luck is going to put up big numbers. No run game. Bad d. Easiest schedule.

Was Brady top 4 last year? No. He won't be this year either.

Cutler is a monster. Best duo wide receivers.

Well see.

Wilson will have healthy harvin. Aging lynch. Will throw more this year. 100 Qb rating first two years with number 2s and 3s. Smh.

Bump this in week 8....

Luck needs to have an elite season though, and he hasn't yet.

He has crazy weapons now, so I wouldn't doubt this year he transforms into a 100 rating passer... But that hasn't happened YET.

Luck will not be a 100 rated passer. Not this year. Not for a while.

He will still throw pics and be inaccurate.

He will get a lot more yards and Tds this year though.

I type final passer rating 90.

Did someone just refer to Jay Cutler as a monster?

The guy who was outplayed by a career back up last season?

He did bitch out in the NFC Championship game. Philip Rivers played with the same injury against the Colts.

I would not be suprised if Cutler has a monster year statistically, thanks to weapons like Marshall, Jeffrey, Forte, and with Trestman calling the shots. Also, the Bears will be playing from behind more than they have in recent years now that the defense has fallen off, which will be good for Cutlers numbers.

In terms of raw talent, Cutler is probably not a top 10 QB in the league. He has a big arm but aside from that there is nothing particularly special about him.

I am a little surprised nobody in this thread has mentioned Stafford yet, I expected to see him on at least one persons list in the 6-10 range.

here is my list. After 1-4 they get pretty hard to rank

1. Manning
2. Rodgers
3. Brees
4. Brady
5. Rivers
6. Wilson
7. Luck
8. Ryan
9. Stafford
10. Newton

on the fringe - Romo, Big Ben, Cutler, Kaep,

Lol.

The definition of raw talent for a Qb is a big arm. Smh. He has a cannon. Accurate. Decision making was getting better since new Qb coach.

And yes, all of your points is why I think he will have 5th best year this year. Great recipe for a qbs numbers.

There is a lot more to QB than just a big arm. Peyton Manning is arguably the best QB in the NFL right now, does he have a big arm these days?

Cutlers accuracy and decision making are mediocre at best.

I think most people equate talent to physical ability. Mobility, arm strength, accuracy, size.

Cutler scores great overall (some categories better than others) in those categories.

The mental aspect of the game.....decision making, pocket movement, eye discipline, smarts before the snap, etc.....people usually don't think of these things as "talent." That's where Cutler is still coming along.

Manning is elite in accuracy and size and elite in all the mental aspects of the game. He can mask his average arm strength and lack of mobility.
