It's funny how every time a big tournament comes up England is amongst the favorites for it, even though they always look the weakest out of all of those teams.
That team lacks cohesiveness, creativity, and spirit. They basically look like a bunch of names that were thrown together at the last minute not even considering whether or not they form a squad.
But wow does McClaren suck as a coach. His club team Middlesbrough always threw money around at some talented players yet they always underachieved. He came out of there with one minor trophy and an asswhooping at the hands of Sevilla in the UEFA Cup final. That match alone should've told any England fan that they have the wrong man. Sevilla made Middlesbrough look like an amateur team in comparison.
But hey, at least he's English. What a joke of a team.

Here's a cool story about former Croatian national team players, you probably heard of them, Boban, Suker, Stimac and other guys..
Anyway, during the World Youth Cup in Chile they all banged chicks every night...
This guy was usually, the main playa, Igor Stimac.
However, he didn't have that much luck in Chile..
So, first night, Boban's back to the hotel with the chick, ditto for Suker, ditto for some other players. Stimac...nothing. He says, don't worry guys, I"ll come through.
2nd night..all the same. Every player now with a different chick, Stimac empty handed, again he says, don't worry, you"ll see that I"ll get a chick
3rd night, the same, 4th night, the same..
Now that was it. Other players made fun of him, they teased him all the time etc..
5th night, they all have a gf again and Stimac comes into hotel...and everyone expect him to be alone again when they see a girl and she was unbelieveably beautiful.. They were all like WOW, they were drolling..
The only reason why I'm calling it soccer here is because this is an American board and I'm just trying to fit in. Otherwise, it's football. Period.

What you're talking about are houligans and the whole world of soccer is trying to fight them.
From my experience, those guys are just losers and idiots. Not true fan.
I remember when I got beat up by 2 guys who were exactly like that just for supporting my team.
Anyway, the thing is, those two chumps had no idea about soccer, hell they didn't even know most players on their team. Something about the game? Forget it. No knowledge.
Generally, idiots like that just want to cause sh!t.
