Default Who has a bigger impact: Oden or Durant?

I always hear commentators saying Durant is the best player but Oden is the most dominant in college basketball. Who do you guys think has the bigger impact in a game Durant or Oden?

Right out of the get go. Oden, but give Durant a couple years in the league and he'll be phenomenal.

Talking college, Durant is easily the most dominant player in the game, and has a much bigger impact. Oden won't even be in my top 5, hell maybe not even in my top 10 dominant players in the college game today if I were to make a list. Maybe his game will translate better in the pros, because it hasn't been translating to anything in the college game

What about Oden being a defensive monster while still putting up near 15 ppg and leading the Buckeyes to a 1 seed? Oden has been dominating, and Durant has had to sacrifice team play, so he can put up his kind of numbers. Oden blocks shots, gets rebounds, but then looks to pass instead of trying to force a shot. Oden dominates the college game, Durant just has better stats.

Durant blocks, steals, and rebounds. He's not just a factor on offense, he has a all around game.

Nice spin, Durant takes the shots, because he's the best player on his team, he's not a selfish stat whore and he is a team player, he said he loves double teams, because he can pass to a open teamate. He plays with freshman and all freshman can't dominate like him, its not like he plays with veteran juniors and seniors like Durant who he can defer to

and for someone that passes as much as you say Oden does, why does Kevin have double the assists?

The only thing Oden does better than Durant is block shots (which he only leads by 1.5) and thats it

Oden averaged 10 boards and 3.6 blocks a game. That's dominant. The bigger impact would go to Oden for the sheer fact his presence on the floor is scary no matter what side of the ball you're on.

Its not even close than 1.5...you ignore the intimidation factor, the ability to alter shots as well. Get a clue.

Durant averages 11.2 boards a game and blocks 2 shots a game.......for a GF, that is dominant.

The difference is one player is dominant on one side of the court, Kevin is dominant on both sides of the court which means he's the more dominant player and easily makes a bigger impact.

You obviously don't watch him play, because you are ignorant about his game and that is a ignorant statement.

Yeah because being 6-9 with a wingspan of a 7 footer doesn't alter shots, your right I need to get a clue.

I've seen some interesting posts, but Durant easily still makes more impact and I don't just look at the statistics. For a wing player to get double digit rebounds is just amazing and dominant, not to mention how he scores. To say Durant just does it for the stats is very wrong as he is on a young team and they need him to take over, afterall, you take Durant out, Texas would be about a 11 seed or so in my opinion, take Oden out, and they come back and beat a team.
